If you have any questions about Zeenees, our cakes or sweet treats then why not check out our FAQs for answers to the most common questions or alternatively get in touch.

Can I change my order?

Most cakes are made close to the occasion to ensure the freshest products. Providing you notify us of changes to your order at least 2 weeks before delivery it is usually possible to make any amendments.

If you have ordered a fruit cake unfortunately these must be made in advance and so orders involving fruit cakes may be more difficult to amend and we ask that you notify us of changes at least 4 weeks before delivery.

Any changes made to your order may incur additional costs depending on the nature of the change.

Do you cater for events?

Our cupcakes, brownies and slices are available to order in a range of sizes from boxes of six through to ‘party’ trays perfect for groups.

If you’re hosting a corporate event or other large gathering please contact us to discuss how Zeenees cakes can add some flavour to your party!

If you’d like something different for your wedding or just want some extra indulgence we also offer cupcakes, slices and more for weddings!

Do you do Gluten free or Vegan cakes?

We’re currently adapting some of our recipes to be suitable for gluten free and vegan diets. Until then please get in touch if you’re interested and we will work with you to try and develop something suitable.

Do your products contain nuts?

All Zeenees products are made in a kitchen where nuts are handled and used and so all Zeenees products may contain traces of nuts and are therefore unsuitable for anyone with a nut allergy.

Zeenees products may also contain, or may contain traces of:

  • Milk
  • Eggs
  • Wheat & other grains (flour, oats, etc.)
  • Peanuts
  • Tree nuts (walnuts, pecans, etc.)
  • Seeds (sunflower, poppy, etc)
  • Spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, etc)

If you’re in any doubt about allergens or the ingredients in Zeenees products please contact us before ordering.

How can I place an order?

Please get in touch using the contact form to discuss placing an order for any Zeenees cake.

Our simple order process clearly sets out the steps in ordering one of our wedding cakes. Alternatively come and see us at a wedding fair or event.

How do wedding cake consultations work?

We understand how important it is to have the perfect cake for your special day. A consultation allows you to work with cake designer Liam Goldstein to develop the right flavours, size, decoration, colour scheme and presentation so that your cake is the perfect centrepiece for the occasion.

You can meet Liam at a range of wedding fairs and events throughout Devon. Alternatively Liam runs regular consultation sessions in Exeter, or if this isn’t convenient Skype or telephone consultations are available.

Please get in touch to check dates and availability for consultations.

How far in advance do I have to order?

For all wedding and celebration cakes please book at least 3 weeks before your event. However if you would like to order a fruit cake please note that you will need to place your order at least 6 weeks beforehand.

If your wedding or event is at a popular time of year such as April – September or during December please book as early as possible to avoid disappointment as availability is limited at these times.

I don’t know where to begin… Can you help?

Of course! We know that planning a wedding or major event can be a busy time.

If you’re looking for inspiration why not take a look at our gallery and see what designs you like. The flavour palette is the perfect place to start thinking about delicious flavour combinations.

The tier guide provides an estimate of the size of cake you’ll need for your event, and our pricing guide shows costs for some of our most popular cakes.

Tell me more about Zeenees…

Zeenees is the creation of West Country cake-designer and baker Liam Goldstein.

All cakes are handmade near the beautiful county town of Exeter and can be delivered to your wedding or event across Devon and surrounding areas.

What is your cancellation policy?

3+ Months Before Delivery

We understand that sometimes things change. If you cancel your wedding or celebration cake order 3 or more months before it is due for collection or delivery then you will receive a full refund (minus any PayPal transaction fees).

1-3 Months Before Delivery

For orders cancelled between one and three months prior to delivery/collection unfortunately we are not able to refund your deposit. This is due to having had to buy ingredients, decorations and loss of orders due to availability.

Less than 6 Weeks before Delivery

Orders cancelled after full payment has been made and with less than a month’s notice may not be eligible for a refund and any refund given (maximum of 50% of the total order value) is at the discretion of Zeenees.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We currently accept payments via PayPal or via bank transfer once an invoice has been generated.

In certain circumstances we may also accept payment by cheque but please allow additional time for the cheque to clear.

What size cake will I need?

Our tier guide provides estimates of the size of cake you’ll need depending on the number of guests at your wedding or event. However if you’re unsure please contact us to discuss further.

When is the balance payable on my cake?

For all wedding cake orders a 25% deposit is payable when placing your order (minimum £50).

For celebration cake the full amount will be invoiced when you order from us.

The balance is then due 6 weeks before delivery/collection of your cake.

If for whatever reason you cancel your order after this date, or fail to pay the remaining balance then your deposit will be kept and no refund will be offered.

Where can I buy a Zeenees cake?

Where can I find allergy information for Zeenees products?
